Apache 1.3.12 + Apache_SSL extension + PHP4

Hi,

I was able to build Apache 1.3.12 + Apache_SSL + PHP4.0.2 + OpenSSL 0.9.6. But when I run Apache (with -DSSL). Apache crash right away with seg. fault. Any one has any idea how I can get https to run? Thanks in advance.

I just want to add something to this as a part of my query....
Is Apache SSL different from Open SSL.
Also i heard that Apache doesnot support SSL....something b'cause of the License policy...
Also for those where SSL is a necessary must for all e-commerce trans. Stronghold is the answer.
but what bout Apache and whats that SSL doing with it??
