unable to find myssql after rpm install

find / -name "mysql"

Or read some docs and look in /usr/local/mysql

well I did look in /usr/local/ and there is nothing at all in the folder...thats why I have no idea what happened

Please check your mysql client cause when you instal mysql in rpm you must install two properties: mysql server and mysql client
