Creating Modules

I need to create the module for the GD library for PHP 4. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea as to how. Could someone please send a reference. I have GD installed just need to know how to apply to PHP.

I wanna rewrite the php engine to work on my 1 meg Palm Personnel and serve up a mini-lynx based to browse the 50k apache server running .... possible?

It's possible, but not just on 1 meg, I bet 4megs is the minimun. Anyway, it's really more intelligent to use a palm as a client computer that will access your main HTTP system with a mini palm browser for a faster result.
