get/post parsing to php.exe using apache

hello,

i just installed apache on my win98 machine.
when a submit/send button is pressed (when there is a form..post action) in an php script, the server starts loading

http..myurl.com/php4/php.exe

and then php crashes, and the server returns "Err 500 (?) contant admin etc".

i am not very familiar with apache, but is there an option to "allow" post/get ? what is this related to?

No it does not require any configuration. I did not understand ur problem. Start apache first and then execute the script.
