Dear sir,

I am new user of php and I would like to know how to install phptraid at window 98 II
edition. As I work on asp and use personal web server in my home. But when installed phptriad and try to run apache but it didn't run. I also uninstalled my PWS but still it didn't work.
So please help me in this regard and give me installation guidance.

You can also try the free BadBlue server ( http://badblue.com/helpphp.htm ) to see if another server will work with your PHP installation.

PHPtriad installation usually works on 98, so you may have some other conflict.

I had the same problem because uninstalling pws is not enough, you also have to to start-settings-control panel-add/remove programs then click on windows setup and make sure you uncheck the box Personal Web Server in the Internet Tools details.
It works fine after

After installing phptraid you must configure php.ini file and also add a load module in httpd.conf file. Only then it starts php engine. If successful you will see "php 4.xx running" message when u run apache.
