Hi,
I've searched the forum but haven't been able to find a solution to this problem... my apologies if you've heard this before...

I've just installed Apache 1.3.19 on Windows 98, and am trying to install/configure PHP 4.05 (installer version). I've followed the instructions to the word (several times) and when I get to step 3 - Copy the php.ini-dist to sysroot and rename it php.ini, I get kind of stuck, because I don't have a file called php.ini-dist anywhere on my computer...

Any ideas why that might be?

Thanks!

Matt

Matt,
What installer are you using? was it from www.php4win.de? or something similar? Whenever I downloaded any of the installers there is always a php.ini or php.ini-dist in the main folder of the install program once you unzip it. Do you not have a php.ini file either already sitting in your windows directory? There are several downloads for php for windows out there.
www.php4win.de was a great site to get php PLUS all of the library dll's at once, but their site is down for 3 weeks, anyone know anything comparable or better?
