upgrading php, mysql, and apache

What is the recommended procedure to upgrade from PHP4.04 to PHP4.06 win32 binary?

Should PHP4.04 be completely deleted before the upgrade? Can I simply install PHP4.06 on top of PHP4.04 and reconfigure Apache?

Can your recommended procedure also be used to upgrade apache, and mysql?

Check out abriasoft.com - they have a utility which will upgrade all three automatically.
