After installing the PHP into "c:\PHP" it pops up entitled "Apache Configuration" saying "Sorry, the software to automatically configure the Apache httpd.conf file has not yet been written. You will have to configure Apache manually. See the php readme file for more details.", but there are no "readme" files in the PHP Directory. Where do I install PHP in order for it to automatically configure the Apache httpd.conf?

Hi,

You can use FOX Installer.

FOX installs the following applications on your computer :

- Apache 1.3.20
- Perl 5.6.1 & PPM
- PHP 4.0.6
- MySQL 3.23.39
- mod_perl
- OpenSSL 0.9.6a
- mod_SSL
- Mason
- EmbPerl
- Apache::ASP.

Similar to the NuSphere and AbriaSoft but far mor complete and up to date.

You can freely download it from sourceforge at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/netkomm/
http://www.fox.it

I hope it helps.

I already have Apache V1.3.20 & Perl V5.6.1 Build #628 installed on my computer. Should I uninstall Apache & Perl, then install the FOX program that you are talking about?
