PHP 4.0.6 and gd

when i compile php 4.0.6 with gd 1.8.4 with gd shared i get the following error, Unable to load dynamic library '/www/site/cgi-bin/test.cfg/dll/gd.so' - /www/site/cgi-bin/test.cfg/dll/gd.so: undefined symbol: gdImagePngCtx

I use the exact same configure options with 4.0.4pl1 and gd 1.8.3 and it works correctly any suggestions ?

hmm ... i've a problem too but not same with you. i've problem when i try to reconfigure apache after compile php 4.0.6, but i didn't get it on php 4.0.3pl1.
