Hello, I think php.net mentioned that if we install gd library (dying for this to work on our linux) we must re-install php

well, on our linux, we did not install php yet, so, should I install gd first?

If so, how do I?

I don't want to f this up, what is the proven way to download it/install it so I can create dynamic images with php?

Thanks, guys
I just can't find out how to do it :(

(Let alone which to install first, I have install php instructions, only)

Thanks. ONe last question. This documentation said I must download freestyle. I never heard that requirement before, how would I get/download this?

I am linux raq 3
Cobalt Linux release 5.0 (Pacifica)
Kernel 2.2.14C10 on an i586

if that is needed for a reply

I ask only as php.net mentioned just the gd library

I just want to confirm, I cannot thank you enough that was a great help. I will search, but I figure it's always best to ask, so I don't f up lol

Thanks again
Almost there :)

Boy, this is nuts lol

One site says I need freestyle, php.net didn't, now this makes it seem php 4 DOES support gd or comes with it

so confusing

ah!
