Problems with installing PHP...

Hi,

Yesterday I tried to install PHP 4.1.0 on a Notebook.
First I installed the personnel web server of the Windows 98 CD.
Then I installed PHP 4.1.0.

My problem is that *.php4 files are detected, but if I dobble click on one, the cursor turns into a clock for 1-2 seconds and after that into the normal cursor again.

What did I do wrong?

you used personal web server from the windows 98 cd, thats what you did wrong

try "Triad" I happen to have a copy on my website, its so easy and painless, installs in a few seconds apache webserver, php, and mysql. It is free, so have at it.
I have used it hundreds of times when doing development on a windows machine.

only thing is its not 4.1.0, I think its 4.05 or close to that
