Execute PHP

I want to know that we can execute PHP on command prompt.


Is there any method to execute php directly other than cgi???

Sure, you can execute it from a command prompt...just use

php <scriptname>



Simple as that...

I am from India.
I hope u r also from India.
I am here in germany and studying M.S in e-business.Here I got internship program in siemens .But there i have to do a project on PHP4.
Even I don't know how to install php.
Please could u help me to drive out of this frustration.
Please If u have some software ,could u please send me sothat i could install here and could work here.
I would be waiting for ur reply.

and I need some help even in coding .
I hope ,u will suggest me some way sothat i could find a way solution for my problem.
