Apache D:\winnt php.ini prob!

My windows folder is located on D:\winnt, php seems to have problems with this, it does not load the php.ini file from D:\winnt\php.ini is this problm solvable

Let the php.ini remain in C:\php directory or whatever name you use for directory upon installation. I have no problem in doing that.
