Has anyone tried installing the PHP / MySQL / Apache system under the new 7.3 release under Linux.

I have had great difficulty installing under Linux, and so have others by the messages kicking around. I wonder if a straight installation of their default system is any easier to get all things working.

yes it is very easy if you use the rpms. no problems at all!

just read threw /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and doo the changes you would lik!

If you realy would like it simple you download webmin at http//:www.webmin.com it will simplefy the administration some too. But remember that webmin is a secutity risk! so don't leave is on unless you need it!

Thanks for that Chris.

You are right - it works fine from the RPMs.

Could never get it quite right before with 7.2.

Will look up Webmin - thanks for the tip.
