Problem getting php_xslt.dll to work

I'm running php 4.2.1 on win98 with pws, and I've finally gotten php to find the extensions that I need, but now it is saying something is wrong with php_xslt.dll. So I run depends.exe on php_xslt and it looks like there is a problem with php4ts.dll and an unresolved parent import with the function _ecalloc. I really don't know what to do from here.
