I'm wondering how you could possibly install any kind of PHP onto Win2K on an ISP. They don't have it, so I'm guessing I would use a cgi-bin or ISAPI like I do at work, but how can I install it without the Windows GUI? I can't change the registry... Is there a directory-specific config file to do this? Or how in the world can this be done?

This would have to be done by your ISP. I don't think there's any way to install it yourself without having direct access to everything on the server. You have to modify the web server in order for it to work.

You would have to have your ISP install PHP on their servers. They may be reluctant so, you may have to help them.

We have run into this a couple of times.

Find out if they have UNix OS or NT

NT is much easier now.
