Access Violation After Timeout

In WinNT 4.0 Service Pack 6a, IIS 4.0 and PHP 4.0.1pl2 / PHP 4.0.3pl1 as CGI:

Using ODBC for connecting to MSSQL 7.0, time to time I'm getting an Access Violation. I noted with a simple script for testing ODBC connection, that when you get a timeout (using set_time_limit function), most of the time you get an Access Violation too. I think that this problem can also happen when a user stops a cgi from his browser (???) in the middle of an ODBC function execution.

Any idea ?
