Fatal error: unable to open....

Hi,

I'm using Win2K, IIS4, PHP3 and MySQL. Everything ran perfectly for months, until a few days ago. Some php3 pages began giving the following error message:

Fatal error: Unable to open F:\Inetpub\wwwroot/elit/tabel.php3 in - on line 0
No input file specified.

But this error doesn't always occur: Sometimes the page is generated correctly! I've made sure that the page shown isn't loaded from cache. Does anyone have any idea what causes this problem?

I don't know if this will help, but I got the same error & fixed it. What we did, is check the rights/security on the server. Make sure 2 things:
1) everyone has rights to view the file. This is done through windows 2000.
2) directory-content is viewable. This is done within IIS.

I know this is NOT very secure, but it works. Will keep you informed as more information is uncovered.
