hi. whenever i try to retrieve data from a memo field in ms access, the text gets chopped off after about 4000 characters. does anybody have any idea how i can fix this? (i tried increasing the buffer size in the odbc manager, but it didn't let me go higher than 4096) also, are there any problems like this with non-odbc db's? thanks.

in odbc on windows machine,
select the config, then hit advanced,
it has a variable called max buffer,
set it higher, like 16384

i ran into this while workin on similar prob, but i haven't tested it,
so good luck
