Apache security help

Hi. I have a computer with apache server for PHP testing. I've seen that someone has been trying to enter my root directory, and execute command lines.

I don't know anything about apache security. I only know that of IIS.

Can anyone point me a good place to learn how to configure the security? Thanks very much. I really need it.

You're being attacked by a remote virus that is trying to exploit known IIS security holes. If you're not running IIS, you're OK. Those security holes do not exist in Apache.
