A new look?

So, are we going to get a whole revamp of PHPBuilder? Will you be integrating vB with the articles too?

Straying slightly OT... is there anyway to change my username? I stopped using 'dannys' a long time ago but I don't want to lose my post count

New look: Not sure where we'll go with it. Our first step was to make the forum live, so that we can get more feedback from the users.

Most likely, I will integrate the article comments, not sure at what point, though.

User name: I can't do that. There are just too many users and I'd have to offer that chance to all 27,000+.

Well the ads seem to appear all over the place atm, so tweaked design should be happening at the very least I'd be willing to help here btw.

Totally understand about the username though, just thought I'd ask

Which browser are you using? We had a problem and had to move the top banners around, did I miss something?

I do need to move the index page banner down into the white.

The ads on the right hand side of the index page have gone really weird and look awful (not good for a site's entry page)

Also, when replying to posts (i.e. what i'm doing now) the ad that's normally down the side actually appears at the bottom.

I was also thinking of idea of having single login for whole of phpbuilder, initially it will be a pain to do this, but will be very fruitful in a long run.

It might be a pain to do know, but it's blinking impossible if you leave it until later

Adding anything else, or is it all hush hush?

Why would you want a single login for the whole of phpbuilder? surely the only place you would want to log into at all would be the forums...

No, you'll need to login to setup/update your profile, publish pieces for the code gallery and possibly submit news, tips, articles etc. Having 1 login for the whole lot would be a great idea.

It would be a waste to turn this into 'just' another forum.

That is very true.

To jstarkey: Is there way users can submit articles?
