Looking for a special DNS service...

Okay, here is what I want. I want a DNS company that just "hides" you server's IP address with the domain name. I want one that can work with a dynamic IP (one that changes), and that will do domain cloacking (Hides your IP with the domain name).
However, most of them do something like this:
http://23.63.733.234 = www.domain.com
http://23.63.733.234/files/makeitwork.php = www.domain.com

I want one, that will add the file name, and directory after the domain like this:
http://23.63.733.234 = www.domain.com
http://23.63.733.234/files/makeitwork.php = www.domain.com/files/makeitwork.php.

I also want one with email clocking, so you can address it to yourname@domain.com, and it will send it to yourname@hotmail.com.

Anyone know of one like this? I am willing to pay $15 - $20 a year for it.

I think http://www.zoneedit.com has all the features you request, it's free, and it's cheap to expand the number of domains/bandwidth you use. I'm not sure you want domain cloaking, essentially that just 'frames' your site and you can definitely not have the expanded URL in your browser. As long as you own a domain zoneedit.com whould work great, you should be able to do www.yourdomain.com/this/or/that.html. Good luck

I'd go with ZoneEdit too (in fact I have) - slow to log into but the rest of the site's pretty quick - first 5 domains (I think) are free and you can setup as many subdomains as you wish. DNS resolution's pretty quick too.

dyndns forces you to use a yourname.dyndns.org though - zoneEdit allows you to use a 'proper' domain name, so to speak.

Good point. Although, if you don't have a domain name, dyndns is one of the best services out there (at least that I have found - after LOTS of looking). It's worth buying a domain name for next to nothing, and using Zoneedit's nameservers though.

Yeah, I'd agree - I used DynDNS before I got a domain and I never had any problems.

Once you get a domain though, (and they cost next to nothing now) ZoneEdit's the way to go.

Well there's no such thing as a free lunch (unless you have a couple of IPs and are willing to maintain your own DNS server )

ZoneEdit's pretty good though - they give you the first 5 for free.

Indeed for now.

I've not really heard anything from them concerning potential price rises and I'd say that they'd close registrations before they'd start charging everyone.

Heck, they haven't even lowered themselves to advertising so it's not like they've been trying to survive on a rapidly decreasing revenue stream.

I found one that looks okay too, www.no-ip.com. It can do what I want, but it is exspensive for the real domain version.
