php code/ smilie problem

you should try to disable all smilies within the (php) tags..

what i mean is this:

say i want to type a code for
PHP Code:
header("Location: page.php");
without the space it becomes:
PHP Code:
header("Location:page.php");

I can think of very few reasons to have a semi-colon and a P after it. Most of them are either: confusing code, mistakes or calling a class element.

Are there some that I might be missing? I don't really see an easy fix for this.

Oh, wait, you're saying it even happens if there's a space?
