Suggestion

I am a member of another online forum that has a root forum topic for tutorials, and I think it's a great idea for this site also. Basically its an area of the forum that only moderators and administrators can add threads to, that way it's easy to moderate. What the members that make a little tutorial do is send it directly to an admin/mod for approval, and then the admin/mod puts it in the "Tutorial Lounge" (or something like that) if it's an acceptable tutorial. Sometimes they just post it in a general area, then a mod/admin moves it to the tutors area.
I personally spend a lot of time reading the tutorial area of the www.visualbasicforum.com forum, and think it's a great idea. It also gets members a little more involved, since they can make a tutorial for others if they are strong in a particular area.

Just a suggestion

While I'm glad the site has tutorials, I'm not too anxious to start on a PHP tutorial from 2000. How about advertising a little more on the site the turorials area, so some new people will contribute a little with some newer techniques. Just an idea, but it might get more attention if there were some newer material in there.

lol, there's a notice on the front page.

We're working on bringing in new content. In the past two weeks we've had about 20 new articles proposed, so hopefully they'll come through.

I have a new one ready to go live, but I'm waiting on the images from the author.
