Want some info on forums

Hi All,
Iam a regular member of this site and i have been using the Forums since longtime
Well i am very much impressed about the new outlook of phpbuilder.com,drastic changes in look and feel and also in the services provided.
Its really helpful for beginners, developers and all
but iam astonished to see that my questions are unanswered
Its posted 2 days back and i see no replies to that
Here i would like to know what is the time that is normally taken to respond to a particular question posted by a user ?
What is the procedure followed in responding to posts?
Any help or info greatly appreciated

Regards

Hi Roopa,

It really depends on who is reading the forum, how descriptive the problem is and what the problem actually is.

As this is a forum, browsed by "general public", there is obviously no obligation to reply to any posts.

I think you will also find that the majority of users are relatively new to PHP / whatever, so they may not have the answers anyway.

What I usually do when I have a moderately urgent problem, is to post a question on multiple forums that I am a member of (not all at phpbuilder).

Hope this explains a bit :-)
