a nice feature would be.....

have a column displaying whether you've posted in that topic or not, cause for the extreme posters, they tend to forget which topics theyve posted in when they return the next day or so

This sound like a good idea.
You can however select your name (to view your own profile) then click the link ' search for all post by this user ', this shows all you posts in order (newest first).
Your idea sounds a little easier.

You can also click on user cp and you'll see all the threads you've subscribed to that have recent replies.

Then again, the wee status icon to the left of each thread indicates whether you posted in that thread or not. What would be nice is if you could filter threads (especially those in your own profile page) according to whether or not you're up to date on them (again, indicated by the thread status icon).

How about an "ignore thread" button to remove all threads you are not interested in seeing any more.
