Hello forum members,

I am a fun of php and i have started learning and building little web applications but i want to take it a step further and i want you to share with me names of sophisticated but easy IDE's that i can use to edit my php. IDE;s that are solely for php, javascript and html will be prferred.

Hi there, and to PHPBuilder!

As for which IDE to use, search the Echo Lounge (which is where your thread is now located, by the way) for previous threads covering this topic; it's been discussed ad nauseam.

My personal favourite is PHPDesigner and I use this for all my php
Other than that, there's netbeans, eclipse and nusphere phped that I've tried. All are good in their own way

Thanks jay6390.

Well, i already have wampserver for the database, but sometimes have problems with it, can you recommend a database software for me to try out, or better still share with me the one you use.

Thanks

You can use Navicat for MySQL. That is what I use. They have a lite version that is free, and I find it much nicer than PHPMyAdmin. I've got the full version but it's licensed so I can't share that with you I'm afraid

Thanks Jay6390.

Well i didn't mean you share your database software with me, what i meant is that share the name of your software with me.

I will try the lite version first to see how i will cope with it then i can make that big decision.

Thanks once again.
