[PHP-DB] Persistant DBMS connection ??? From: CESBRON S. (scesbron <email protected>)

Hi everybody,

I'm a newbie and that's my first post to this group.
I'm using PHP 4.0.2 on a Win2000 machine with an Access database (which is
crappy, but i can't use anything else!!!).

I'd like to know if it is possible to create a session variable for a
database to get a persistent database connection. I've got lots of updates
and so on, to do with this DBMS. It will be really usefull to save time,
not having to reconnect to the DBMS for each request.

Is it possible and how to do so ?
