I just have on thing to say:
Paul, I read your book about MySQL and I can tell you it was the first book
about databases that added to my knowledge more than expressions and
functions. People like you and Doug Semig are above the average (forgive me
if I am forgetting someone - I'm talking about people that really helped me)
and the only thing that I can tell you is that you don't need to answer this
kind of e-mails. MySQL is more live than ever and not a single word can any
person in this world say against the freedom that it gives to developers.
Yes, it's not perfect (yet). What about all the other that have long years
of existance and still have problems?
Man, thank you very much for what you've done for the Internet. Doug, the
same to you. People like you make us believe in Open Source and also of an
Internet community full of people that help each other a lot. Greed is
everywhere but this happends only to good people like you.
Never mind. We know what MySQL is. We know what is behind the scenes.
God bless you all!!!
Best regards,
Fábio Ottolini
An admirer of everything that is good
