Hello,
maybe you don't initialise the cookie in the second page,
so the third does not receive it. Anyway, I don't think the error
is in the code section provided. There is nothing strange like
this I have ever noticed in MySQL, always my code's fault.
There was about a month ago an article on www.phpbuilder.com
on multi-page forms. Something with $$$.. Read it and
the comments. This may help you. The way I'd do it
doesn't involve cookies.
