[PHP-DB] Problem to connect to Mysql From: Froggy / Froggy Corp. (froggy <email protected>)

Hello,
        I try to verify if i can connect to the mysqld but when i do a

mysql_connect("localhost","pouet","...")

i have allways this error :

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Access denied for user:
'nobody <email protected>' (Using password: NO) in
/home/www/iutcachan/testmysql.php3 on line 3

that dont use the password i said and for the user that use the owner of
the .php file.

i use the latest version of apache and mysql and the version 4.0.3pl1
for php

i saw another guys which had this problem, if they could help me.

Very thanks for any help cause im on this problem for 2 weeks and i will
shoot my linux :(
