it isnt necessarily the "fastest" - see tim perdue's article on pg/mysql
for sourceforge. (on phpbuilder.com somewhere, i think) of course its
all in what you use it for. mysql probably is a bit quicker for
synthetic "insert <somelargenumber> of records" benchmarks. ;-]
as for lack of features... no transactions! urgh!
