Again, not being by ANY MEANS an XML expert or web services expert, I
suggest you find some web services/xml-rpc/SOAP mailing lists to join and
ask questions there. There is a php.soap newsgroup, apache xml-rpc mailing
list check out

Go to www.php.net and check out the links looking at some of the php
developers sites. I have some across several (just don't remember the path
I took) that deal with xml web services using php (and some might be geared
toward using XSLT to transform from one XML schema to another and efficient
ways of storing the data extracted from the XML docs in a rdbms,
generically, or MySQL, specifically).
