hello zeev, rasmus & developers:

i'd like to ask for permission to make you a temporary account on our client's
machine. i get one chance to make a great first impression of what PHP is, who
develops PHP, and why the client should OK my unusual request. (i KNOW it
benefits them and that your willingness to make PHP the best it can be, as a
volunteer developer, is way above and beyond the call--i'm talking cio
persuasion here :-)

is there PHP advocacy information anywhere with non-technical points describing:
+ the PHP developers (bios? - the credits humbly list
     technical contributions only)
   + high-profile users (company names that non-internet-
literate cio's can at least recognize and feel
     comforted hearing)
+ corporate support (i.e. do any recognizable companies
support PHP development with donated services, time
allowed in the workplace for PHP development, etc.? i.e.
is Rasmus affiliated with Bell, and part of his work
at Bell is to develop PHP?)

PHP is technically the best thing available that i know of. sometimes decisions
about selecting and using a certain technology in the workplace are political,
and having this sort of info available to support the selection and use of PHP
might help bureaucratic organizations justify adopting PHP. (and help me, today
:-).

anyone have some info like that, or want to help me start assembling some?
