The "0" saga is a sad story - it was changed to be considered true
somewhere around beta 6, mainly because there was no empty() predicate and
because the smart conversions weren't all that smart back then. It was
changed back to mean false in RC5, mainly because the only reason that
remained for it to mean 'true' is downwards compatability, and all other
reasons pointed against it...
