Well, you keep commenting on the fact that there are missing bits of
documentation. The only way documentation gets written is if someone sits
down and writes it. That someone doesn't always have to be the person who
wrote the code. It can just as easily be someone who has played with the
feature and feels comfortable explaining how to use it to others.
As for renaming the list() function to extract() ? I don't really see the
logic in that. The list() function provides a construct that allows you
to set a list of variables that are to take the place of an array.
