I am using Solaris 2.6(sparc) the latest version of apache and php3.orc4
(something like that). and mysql. I created a search page that uses eregi_replace
to substitute AND NOT with <> and various other character replacements. I tried
grabbing the newer version of php3 from the site and it compiled great (just like
ORC4) with gcc 2.8.1 the search script seems to work great but now gives an error
for eregi_replace() I am sorry but I do recall the error since I had to do a full
restore. If you are interested and cannot find an error with eregi_replace I will
try it again. but I figured that you might want to know that it is acting
differently since the last release. Oh and I am using php as an apache module.
Sorry I do not have details,
