Description: General error of PHP3 ?

When i made Apache_1.3.[12] with PHP-3.0.4 there are some problems:
-when document doesn't exist, error code is 403 (!) instead of 404
- 'DirectoryIndex index.php3 index.phtml index.htm' causes errors:
[Sat Sep 26 20:31:35 1998] [error] [client 193.165.65.194] access to /index.php3 failed
[Sat Sep 26 20:31:35 1998] [error] [client 193.165.65.194] access to /index.phtml failed
(index file in directory was index.htm, of course ...)
