[PHP-DEV] Bug report #835 (Openlink Issues) - Dev-team please read this. From: Brian Leyton (bleyton <email protected>)
Date: 10/21/98

I'm re-posting this to the Dev-List, since I haven't received any replies
yet to my posting on the main PHP list:

First of all, I want to express my thanks to the development team for all of
their incredible efforts. PHP is a work of art, and I really enjoy using
it.

I was wondering though, how the bug-report mechanism works. I posted a
message a couple of weeks ago, to this list, and later to the bug database
(after I read Zeev's request for us to use the bug database more, instead of
just expecting the dev-team to see messages on the list).

I didn't receive any reply or acknowledgement to either posting.

Did I maybe not explain the problem clearly enough? I noticed that my
bug-report has not yet been assigned to anyone, though I also noticed that
many of the closed issued had no name assigned either.

Is there someone who goes through periodically & assigns issues to people?
Do the developers just pick whichever ones interest them?

I'm not trying to be a pest or anything, but I have a tech support issue
open with Openlink. They've pointed the finger back at PHP, and since I
haven't responded in a couple of weeks, they're going to close out my issue
& I'm left back at square one.

Could someone please have a look at bug report #835 & let me know if there's
anything I can do to help get to the bottom of this?

Thanks,

Brian Leyton
