I would be interested in knowing just how this was accomplished.
I recently tried again with 1.3.4, 2.2.3 and the latest php3 from CVS
at the time (as well as 3.0.5), but the results for me, at least were
still the same. When mod_ssl and mod_php3 are both DSO, there are big
problems at startup, and strace shows that there's a sched_yield loop
going on and on and on. This is linux 2.0.36 + secure-linux patches,
gcc 2.7.2.3, and glibc 2.0.7. It works fine if I link mod_php3 static,
however.
