Jim, I assume you are taking care of the 3.0.9 release? I think it is a
good idea to have one person in charge of doing each release and
coordinating with the various developers. I think you nominated yourself
on this one. Looks like Thies needs a bit more time, but when you think
it is ready, fire off an announcement email, and update the various web
pages (main page, download page and the bugs db page).

If you don't have time, let me know.
