I don't know about the CVS version, but the php4b2 release seems to have a
problem with accepting the http POST method. I noticed this when trying to
run xmlrpc (the php version) and discovered that the xmlrpc server code
failed when I used it on a php4b2 enabled server. Edd Dumbill (the author
of xmlrpc) mentioned this was a problem with POST in older versions of php3
and that it was fixed in 3.0.12, but that he was not sure if the new code
got merged into php4.
