[PHP-DEV] Bug #3032: can't compile with Apache From: t.johnson <email protected>
Date: 12/23/99

From: t.johnson <email protected>
Operating system: Red Hat 6.1
PHP version: 3.0.12
PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: can't compile with Apache

When installing PHP-3.0.12 on Red HAt 6.1 w/apache_1.3.9 and MySQL-3.22.27, constant errors from the make. ./configure runs with no errors or warnings. During make, cannot find include files no matter where you say they are. Also, APXS will not work either. Same errors as the w/Apache. Have followed the install.redhat file as far as I could, but no go. Also checked knowledge base, mailing lists, any other resource, no answers.

Have all the files:
apache_1_3_9-1_i386.rpm
apache-devel-1_3_3-1_i386.rpm
freetype-devel-1_2-2_i386.rpm
php-3.0.12.tar.gz

Wish the Unix/Linux flavor worked as well as the NT!
Why don't you just release a .so file for PHP, and get on with it. Make life alot easier.
