I am running on Win95 with all the services packs, TCP upgrades etc applied.
Tried your suggestion, commenting out the php3 lines, but the problem still
persists.

This is NOT critical.. I use my WIN32 box .. (Win 95/Apache/mySQL/PHP) ..
as a development testing system. However, I also have a Debian linux box
which I use for major development of major web sites. A planned hardware
upgrade later this month will make the Win95 system obsolete.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I just though it would be a good problem to make of note of this as a Win95
problem in the BUGS database.
