Good news:
- Provided binaries seem to work
- compling works under win32

Bad news:
- max_execution_time: if time_limit is set to 0, scripts won´t execute
until god comes to earth, 0 is treated as 0 seconds, not so good

Additional question:
Where is information on how to build the php Apache module for Win32,
I´ve never tried before and this run failed, I´ve copied the files from
the apache1.3.12 source package whenever MSVC requested them, but it
didn´t work finally...
