With NT4 / SP6a, w3svc will not start if php4isapi.dll has been added to the ISAPI filters section.
There appears to some relation to the PHP.INI settings. With my existing php.ini file, it would not
start at all and no error message was generated. With php.ini-dist and php.ini-optimized
inetinfo.exe dies with "The instruction at "0x77f05120" referenced memory at "0x00000014". The
memory could be "read"." No other error messages are output to either the system event logs or my
PHP error log file.
Running as a CGI is working just fine so far.
