PHP Bug Type: Installation problem
Bug description: apache not starting with an error message undefined symbol gdImageCopyMerge
I compiled PHP4 tarball downloaded from php site (php-4.0.1RC.tar.gz) on a Redhat Linux 6.0 on Alpha
running Apache 1.3.12 with mod_ssl installed. PHP compiling option used is
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --enable-EAPI
No errors in configure or make , after installation and when I start apache server
Iam getting
cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server.
/usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so : undefined symbol gdImageCopyMerge.
httpd could not be started
