updates created working on merging with 4.0.1
and a small user test group. also fixing(?) the DSO problem many
had with the solid db/php/apache mixture.

hope to fix SolidEE 3.0 as well, but no test systems available

have not been able to remove the warning of
"integer from pointer without a cast" but that hasn't seemed
to hurt the build at all.
