[PHP-DEV] Bugs database From: Andi Gutmans (andi <email protected>)

Guys,

Although everyone seems to be busy discussing new features they want in PHP
4. please take a quick look at the bugs database. There are over 800! open
bug reports.
It would be really great if in the next few weeks php-dev could focus more
on those and less on new features. I think a lot of those bug reports
aren't bogus and probably aren't too hard to fix but it needs to be a group
effort because non of us has enough time/strength to close a big amount
ourselves.
I really think it is more important to stabilize PHP 4 as much as possible
right now and not to implement new features. We can still talk about new
features but it seems to me that most of the energy is going towards new
code when the old code is still not bug free.
