yes!!!! please!!!! this is the RIGHT THING (tm)

as i would really like to have an offline version
to work on while on the train

as mysql dumps are plain ascii there should be no need do think about
incremental dumps, cvs should figure it out itself and mirrors get
a valid copy whenever they update ...
